Alicia Masters is a blind artist and the girlfriend of Ben Grimm.
Biography[]
Fantastic Four[]
Alicia Masters is a blind artist who meets Ben Grimm shortly after he has become the Thing and his fiancée, Debbie McIlvane, abandons him because of his appearance. Alicia falls in love with Ben and helps him accept Reed Richards' proposal to become superheroes, while searching for a cure to Ben's body. They begin dating.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer[]
Alicia is chosen by Sue Storm as her maid of honor, and moments before her wedding with Reed, Sue expresses fear of what will happen afterwards. But Alicia hugs her, saying that she is happy with Reed and she has nothing to worry about. The ceremony, however, is interrupted by the arrival of the Silver Surfer.
After the battle with Doctor Doom and Galactus, Reed and Sue are finally able to get married, and Alicia reprises her role as the maid of honor.
Personality[]
Alicia is a caring young woman. After Ben became the Thing and his previous lover Debbie broke up with him, she helped him accept Reed's proposal to become a superhero.

- In a deleted scene from Fantastic Four, the Thing visits Alicia's lab and sees some puppets on the wall. When he asks her about them, she replies that they belong to her step-father, making a reference to Phillip Masters, the villain Puppet Master from the comics.
- Alicia is the only blind character seen in the film.
- She refers to God as a woman that isn't into hate, when the Thing feels that God hates him.
